Covid-19 pushes 270 million people into hunger


Millions of more people are likely to go hungry this year because of the coronavirus crisis, the World Food Programme (WFP), a Rome-based UN agency, said Monday, as it announced plans for a massive boost to its global aid operation so it can reach them.

In an alert, WFP head David Beasley said that new estimates show that 270 million people face food insecurity by the end of this year.

114 year old Ethiopian man recovered from Covid-19

  114 years Ethiopian man defeated  the coronovirus and recovered from Covid-19 one of     the doctor who treated him said " incredible". Aba Tilahun Woldemichael's family says he is 114, which would make him the world's oldest man.  People over the age of 80 are considered to be among the most vulnerable if they catch the virus. The centenarian, who is an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian monk, is now being looked after at home by his grandson.
